How do you work efficiently with Vanillaplan?

From a certain company size, roughly from 25 - 30 employees, the question quickly arises of which form of organisation should be used for deployment and capacity planning with Vanillaplan. Broadly speaking there are two different organisational models to choose from: the «Super User» model and the «Super User Team» model.

Both organisational models are used in businesses with either a large number of employees or a small number of employees. The size of a company therefore makes no difference.

Both models are found in businesses with simple structures (e.g. plasterers, painters, floor layers, etc.) or in businesses with more complex structures (e.g. timber construction, building services, building construction and civil engineering). It can therefore be said that the nature of a company's complexity is rather unimportant.

What we observe much more is that the company's lived culture is decisive for the choice of a particular organisational model.

Vanillaplan AG recommends that all users appoint a «Super User» for the organisation within the company.
The «Super User» is in direct contact with Vanillaplan AG for all flows of information to the company. The «Super User» is responsible for ensuring that all information about the company reaches the relevant places. Conversely, the «Super User» is the first point of contact within the company for all matters concerning Vanillaplan and then communicates these to Vanillaplan in a bundled form.
