Our first Vanillaplan pilot customer was az Holz AG from Liestal. We are therefore delighted that we were also able to create our first interface to the industry software of «Messerli Informatik AG» for az Holz AG using Vanillaplan Fair. This saves tiresome duplicate data entry.
Interfaces long suffered from a poor reputation among many users; complexity and the effort involved in creating them were only some of the reasons for this. An important point, however, was also the prevalence of on-premise applications, which required deep intervention in their databases in order to be able to benefit from interfaces. Fortunately, interfaces are considerably simpler and more lightweight with cloud-based software systems such as Vanillaplan, which opens up many new and exciting areas of application. When developing Vanillaplan Fair, however, we also made sure to enable interfaces to on-premise applications.
Data exchanged via Vanillaplan Fair never leaves Switzerland. Data can also be converted via the interface. For example, project costs may be recorded in an ERP system as monetary amounts, whereas for use in Vanillaplan they are calculated in working hours. Fortunately our integration platform can be configured individually and in a lightweight way for each of our customers.
If you are also interested in using Vanillaplan Fair, in combination with Vanillaplan or to combine various other applications, get in touch with us, we are happy to advise you.

Our cloud-based integration platform Vanillaplan Fair enables data exchange between two systems on a time- or event-driven basis and fully automatically. We developed Vanillaplan Fair among other things in order to offer the best possible solutions for every individual company. This means our digital magnetic boards for deployment and capacity planning can easily be combined with various industry software.
