Last week the video recordings of the pitches were shown over two days. Each PropTech had produced a four-minute video about its business idea, customer benefit and team. In total there were eight different topic areas: Vanillaplan was to be found in the Planning & BIM group along with around 30 other PropTechs. There were two digital stages where the eight topic areas were divided into pitch blocks, and you could switch back and forth according to interest. In between there were repeated blocks for networking or for taking part in discussions on studies, partners or industry associations.
On Friday, after all the digital pitches of the more than 260 PropTechs had been shown, everyone was able to award points, and together with a top-class jury one winner was chosen from each of the eight topic areas, each receiving prize money of 20,000 euros. No Swiss PropTech emerged as a winner of the PropTech Germany Award, but it was an exciting event and once again we were able to take away a great deal that was positive as well as some valuable contacts.

REAL PropTech Pitches 2021

Vanillaplan took part in this year's first digital REAL PropTech DE, alongside more than 260 PropTechs from all over Europe! It was a huge meeting point for all PropTechs from the real estate and construction industry. The first REAL PropTech Pitches was organised by REAL PropTech DE in collaboration with blackprint Booster. With the event, the organisers aimed to provide an overview of digital solutions, to create visibility and a stage for PropTechs and to enable direct networking between the players.
