On Monday morning the office first had to be rearranged in line with distancing rules, of course. Once that was done, everyone had enough time to settle in. After all, two team members had only been able to work in the office for a week before working from home began, and our newest team member had even started work straight away from home.
Despite this difficult time, we at Vanillaplan can look back positively on the period of working from home. Both our work and the onboarding of new employees went without any problems. Only the social interactions in the office were of course something we missed.
Nevertheless, we have decided to continue giving the whole team the opportunity to work from home at least once a week. The journeys saved in this way give our team more free time and at the same time protect the environment.
As a reward for how well working from home went, all team members may treat themselves to something. In June, Michael and Domenic will take a field trip to existing and potential customers in the Engadin, and Marlon will attend a conference for front-end developers.
We at Vanillaplan have all settled back into everyday office life. We hope the same is true for you.

After more than two months of working from home, the time finally came on Monday 25 May: the Vanillaplan team was able to move back into the office.
