A brief look back: how did we come to the SIA?
When we were at Swissbau in May this year, we came into contact with representatives of the Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects. We were able to present our software to them - and in the course of our exchange we came up with the idea of offering a webinar about Vanillaplan on the SIA inForm training platform.
What exactly is the SIA?
The Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects is a professional association for the four occupational groups of architecture, structural engineering, technology and the environment. It is made up of various sections and specialist societies and thus offers a broad, qualified and interdisciplinary network. Its work focuses on building culture in Switzerland and on the concerns of the professionals behind it. It takes positions on substantive topics such as material cycles, energy and climate questions, helps shape spatial development in Switzerland, is active in the education policy environment and offers a wide range of training and further education courses. It also develops and publishes numerous standards, regulations, guidelines, recommendations and documentation that are authoritative for the Swiss construction industry.
What can you expect from our webinar «Digitalised resource planning»?
Co-founder Ingrid Stalder will present Vanillaplan to you with all its functions and possible uses. This webinar will be of particular interest to engineering and specialist planning offices: you will learn how capacity planning works in digitalised form and what basic data is needed for it. It goes on to cover the linking of capacity and deployment planning and the allocation of employees several weeks in advance. Finally we look at what helpful information can be added in the various views of the deployment plans and how you can use it most effectively.
