In the Vanillaplan resource view (we chose the 3-week view for the video) you can edit scheduled assignments with a left click. (In the 1-, 5- or 7-day view you have to right-click and then select Edit event). If you tick Repeat, the menu expands and you can select the date you want; you may still need to adjust the day of the week. Clicking Ok copies the selected assignment and enters it automatically. If you only want to move the assignment rather than copy it, you can carry out the steps in exactly the same way and then remove the old assignment in the same menu under Delete.
This function is particularly useful when assignments shift by one or more weeks but nothing else about the job changes. It is also useful for repeated, unchanging assignments.
